MAKING YOUR WAY TO STONE ISLAND.

Travel to the Whitsunday region is quick and convenient. Fly into Proserpine Airport, also known as the Whitsunday Coast Airport (PPP), for the most convenient mainland access to Stone Island.

From the airport, it is just under an hour’s drive to Bowen, where Stone Island nudges the coastline. The proposed cable car travels across the ocean for 2km, without ever touching the water, making Stone Island the most uniquely accessible island in the Whitsundays.
